Students win honors from Music Teachers' Association of California

School of Performing Arts student Andrew Kierszenbaum won 1st Place in the MTAC Composer's Today Film Scoring Competition for his score for the film "The Other Girl." Nicholas Mendez won 1st Place in the State MTAC Concerto/Solo Competition and Victoria Wang won Honorable Mention. All three musicians study with Jeffrey Lavner.
