Parking and Directions
We offer an open invitation to students, parents, and the public to visit the Colburn School campus. However, because parking in the Colburn parking structure is at a premium, it’s reserved for students, faculty, and staff, or by special permission. If you fall into this group, download the appropriate PDF for directions and instructions.
Guests to the Colburn School
Whether you’re here to enjoy one of our numerous performances, to visit the Colburn School library, or dine in the Colburn Café, you’re welcomed to park in Colburn’s Lot 3, Athena Parking, located on Second Street between Olive and Hill Streets.
The Colburn School campus is conveniently located near public transportation hubs, and we recommend that visitors consider taking advantage of these services. The Metro Red and Purple Lines serve the Civic Center/Grand Park subway station at Hill and 1st Streets, and many bus lines allow for convenient and reliable transportation to and from Colburn. We recommend referencing the LA Metro trip planner for routes and schedules.
If you decide to ride the Metro to one of our concerts at the Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena or Zipper Hall on campus, you can receive a $5 discount off admission. Bring a valid TAP card, Metro Employee ID, or LA Country Employee ID to the event to receive your refund at the door.
