The Adrian Dunn Singers, a professional all-Black vocal ensemble, return for another joyous musical celebration of Black History Month. Joined by the Rize Orchestra, the ensemble will record live Resurrection, a new album by Adrian Dunn, Colburn’s Director of Choral Programs. Divided into four powerful acts, the evening will feature the world premiere of Adrian Dunn’s Mass; Salvation, a song cycle inspired by bell hooks; ZEEK, a revolutionary new opera suite, and a celebratory finale of jazz and gospel works.In collaboration with Classical KUSC.
