Master Class: Ralph Kirshbaum
Join us as cellist Ralph Kirshbaum presents a master class with Conservatory and Music Academy students.
Texas-born cellist Ralph Kirshbaum, chair of the USC Thornton School of Music’s strings department, has performed with many of the world’s great orchestras, including the Boston and Chicago Symphony Orchestras, the San Francisco, Pittsburgh, BBC and London Symphonies, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Each year distinguished performing and teaching artists visit campus and work with our students in master classes. Master classes offer a rare glimpse into the artistic, creative, and learning processes between performing artists of the highest caliber and students on the cusp of professional careers.
