Don’t miss the inaugural Showcase and Competition of the Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices, which encourages students from the Conservatory, Music Academy, and Community School to explore and perform Recovered Voices works for solo instruments and chamber groups. Competition finalists will perform and winners will be announced at the end of the evening.

The Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices, founded by LA Opera Music Director James Conlon, sponsors seminars, academic conferences, and competitions in an effort to present a deeper understanding of the history of the music by composers suppressed by the Nazi regime.
