COVID-19 Safety: Patron Protocols

With safety foremost in mind, we have developed protocols to protect you and our community. Thank you in advance for carefully following our guidelines below. We look forward to welcoming you to campus!

Learn about the steps we’re taking on campus to ensure a safe environment for our students, families, faculty, and staff.

Please note: “full vaccination” means at least two week past your final dose.

Protocols

Ticketed Events

*Excludes Community School events

  • Proof of full vaccination (including a booster dose, if eligible) is required for all attendees. Be prepared to show your vaccination card, photo of your vaccination card, or digital vaccine record along with a photo ID.
  • Children will only be admitted with proof of full vaccination. Children who are ineligible to receive a vaccination, have only received one shot, or have not received a booster (if eligible) will be unable to attend.
  • Masks must be worn at all times on the Colburn campus. Acceptable mask types include KN95, N95, or surgical masks with multiple layers of non-woven material and a nose wire. Cloth masks must be worn with an underlying surgical mask.

Community School Events

  • Proof of full vaccination (including a booster dose, if eligible) is required for all adults. Be prepared to show your vaccination card, photo of your vaccination card, or digital vaccine record along with a photo ID.
  • Unvaccinated Colburn students may show proof of a negative rapid test taken at Colburn that day. Unvaccinated children who are not Colburn students and those too young to take a rapid test will be unable to attend.
  • Masks must be worn at all times on the Colburn campus. Acceptable mask types include KN95, N95, or surgical masks with multiple layers of non-woven material and a nose wire. Cloth masks must be worn with an underlying surgical mask.
  • All attendees must complete an online health check before arriving at the Colburn campus. Be prepared to show the results (a green checkmark) when you arrive.

Booster Eligibility

  • Pfizer: Ages 12 years and older; 5 months after second dose
  • Moderna: Ages 18 and older; 5 months after second dose
  • Johnson & Johnson: Ages 18 and older; 2 months after original vaccination

Attendance

If you must miss a performance due to sickness, you can donate the cost of your ticket back to the Colburn School to help support our amazing young artists. Just contact the Colburn School Box Office at 213-621-1050 or boxoffice@colburnschool.edu.

Please keep in mind that even with these safety protocols, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By purchasing tickets, you agree to comply with all safety protocols and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 associated with in-person attendance at this event.
