Financial Aid

Our admissions process is need-blind, meaning a student’s financial circumstances are not part of the criteria we consider when deciding who to admit. We are committed to providing access to all students who qualify for admission. Therefore, financial aid is available to qualifying students to help cover tuition expenses.

To apply for financial aid, submit a Parents’ Financial Statement to, along with all required supplemental materials. It’s important to know that failure to supply all necessary items or documents could result in ineligibility to receive financial aid.

Greendale Scholarships

As a boy, Moe Greendale was a gifted violinist and became an accomplished pianist. He had a lifelong love of music and supported the music community in Los Angeles for more than 50 years. Thanks to the Moe and Arlene Greendale Endowment Fund, his generosity and support has been extended to the Colburn Music Academy. We’re privileged to offer need-based Greendale Scholarships to students who wish to attend the Colburn Music Academy who may not have the financial resources. These partial-to-full scholarships for tuition expenses are awarded at the discretion of the financial aid committee.
