Community School of Performing Arts
The Colburn Community School of Performing Arts serves students of all ages with classes in music, dance, drama, and early childhood arts education.
It is our goal to provide the Los Angeles community with the finest performing arts instruction through our Community School. As an open-enrollment school, we do not require academic degrees to enroll in our courses, which cover a broad range of styles, age levels, and degrees of difficulty. Music classes include applied musical instruction, music theory, chamber ensemble, and large ensemble opportunities.
The Community School has been accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) since 1980, and we are a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education.
