Celebrate the Colburn Conservatory of Music's 10th Anniversary with The Colburn Orchestra concerts. As seen on KCET's Open Call, The Colburn Orchestra has some of the finest young talent in classical music today.

Venues this year include Pasadena's Ambassador Auditorium, and Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Announcing the new Baton Ticket

For a contribution of $1,000, you will receive a Baton Ticket for the 2013/2014 season. This entitles you to a pair of premium seating tickets at all four of this season’s of Colburn Orchestra concerts at the Ambassador Auditorium, and you’ll be invited to a very special party with Richard Beene, Dean of the Colburn School Conservatory of Music. Renowned pianist Menahem Pressler, 90, will make his Walt Disney Concert Hall debut with The Colburn Orchestra, James Conlon conducting. The concert will feature Mr. Pressler in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 17 in G major. Mr. Conlon will also lead the orchestra in Alexander Zemlinksy's symphonic fantasy, The Mermaid. The performance is part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Sounds About Town series.

Subject to availability, get your tickets at the concert venue one hour prior to the performance.

LA Metro Discount

Metro riders who attend the Colburn Orchestra concerts at the Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena or the Colburn Chamber Music Society at Zipper Hall (on the Colburn campus) will receive a $5 discount off admission. Please bring a valid TAP card, Metro Employee ID, or LA County Employee ID to the event to receive a refund at the door.
