College Audition Help Desk

In addition to our regular pop-up on the plaza, this special installment of Office Hours will feature a Help Desk for our students preparing for college auditions. Drop by the plaza to have your questions answered by seasoned Conservatory students who have just gone through the process. You can also come up to the 5th floor lounge of the Olive building for a mock audition experience led by our Provost, Dr. Adrian Daly and a panel with current Conservatory students moderated by Conservatory Dean, Lee Cioppa.

Dr. Adrian Daly, Provost of the Colburn School
Dr. Daly has served as Provost of the Colburn School since 2015. His previous positions include Dean of the Cleveland Institute of Music for six years, and the Associate Dean for Admissions and Retention at the Eastman School of Music. Dr. Daly received his BA from Trinity College in Dublin, an MM in Piano Performance from the University of Notre Dame, and a DMA in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music.
Lee Cioppa, Dean of Colburn Conservatory of Music
Prior to her arrival at Colburn in August of 2016, Lee Cioppa held the position of Associate Dean for Admissions at The Juilliard School, overseeing admissions for the Dance, Drama, and Music Divisions with over 5,500 applications annually. She has been a presenter and speaker on arts admissions at numerous conferences including the National Association for College Admissions Counseling, Arts Schools Network and the Classical Singer Convention. Ms. Cioppa’s higher education career began at the Manhattan School of Music, where just three years after graduating with her Master of Music in oboe she was appointed Director of Admission. Subsequently she worked with the Alberto Vilar Global Fellows Program at New York University. Her Bachelor of Music is from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
