Space in the Trudl Zipper Dance Institute is limited, and priority registration is given to our returning students. If you have never been enrolled in dance at the Colburn School, or if your attendance has lapsed for at least one year, then you are designated as a new student. New students must audition to be accepted unless they are registering for entry level classes (Creative Dance, Pre-Ballet I). The audition also determines placement in the proper course level.
The registration period for the 2020–21 year opens July 28, 2020 for returning students and August 10, 2020 for new students. To register, log into your existing account (returning students) or create an account (new students) with our online registration system ASAP Connected.
Academic Calendar and Schedule of Classes
The Trudl Zipper Dance Institute operates on a 37-week academic calendar. Prior to the beginning of the academic year, we publish a complete schedule of classes, which includes course descriptions and tuition amounts, as well as audition dates.
The policies of the Trudl Zipper Dance Institute have been established in order to ensure consistency and continuity of study in both Colburn Youth Dance and the Colburn Dance Academy, and to maintain a positive learning and teaching environment.
