Beethoven 250

Colburn Presents Beethoven 250

October 14–19

Scott St. John and Arnold Steinhardt, co-curators

This season, Colburn gets a head start on celebrating Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birthday with a festival built around the composer’s beloved string quartet cycle and honoring longtime Colburn faculty member Arnold Steinhardt, first violin of the celebrated Guarneri Quartet.

Enjoy six days of all things Beethoven, including performances by the Calidore and Viano string quartets; and Colburn faculty members Martin Beaver, Scott St. John, Margaret Batjer, Paul Coletti, Clive Greensmith, Fabio Bidini, Peter Lloyd, HyeJin Kim, and Rodolfo Leone.
