Flutist Elizabeth Rowe leads a master class with Colburn students, followed by a Q&A hosted by Jim Walker.

BSO principal flutist Elizabeth Rowe joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 2004 and holds the Walter Piston Principal Flute Chair. Prior to joining the BSO, she held titled positions with the orchestras of Fort Wayne, Baltimore, and Washington, DC.

Each year, distinguished performing and teaching artists work with our students in master classes, offering a rare glimpse into the artistic, creative, and learning processes between performing artists of the highest caliber and students on the cusp of professional careers.
