Make A Lasting Impact On The Next Generation Of Young Artists

At the Colburn School, we ensure young people have access to the most exceptional learning and performing opportunities. As tuition, ticket sales, and other earned revenue make up only 33% of the cost of running the School, these transformative experiences with our exemplary faculty are only possible in partnership with you. Your philanthropic support develops the creative minds of tomorrow’s global arts community.

Did you know? Your gift assists the School in providing a multitude of resources for our 2,500+ students and families each year.

  • It costs $300 to keep each of Colburn’s 170 pianos in pristine playing condition every year.
  • $1,800 is the average amount of scholarship support awarded to over 800 Community School and Trudl Zipper Dance Institute students.
  • $2,500 is the average cost to rent an orchestral score for students and guest conductors to prepare for beloved Colburn Orchestra concerts.
  • It costs $10,000 to put on a free Colburn School performance in Zipper Hall.
  • We offer free tuition, room, and board to all 130 of our Colburn Conservatory students, an experience valued at over $78,500 per student each year

As an added bonus, your gift grants you membership into the Colburn Society, a donor community that offers behind-the-scenes access to the School, including year-round engagement with the students and faculty you support, and an abundance of opportunities to meet visiting guest artists each year.

Thank you for your help in developing the next generation of talented arts leaders and creative minds. We look forward to welcoming you to the Colburn community this season!
