The Concert Band is an ensemble designed for middle and high school wind and percussion students who demonstrate playing ability at the intermediate level. No previous band experience is required. This ensemble emphasizes music reading and ensemble skills.
Duration Rehearsals: Saturdays, 4:15–6:45 pm
The Wind Ensemble is intended for high school intermediate through advanced level wind and percussion students. Repertoire includes original and arranged works for winds. This ensemble emphasizes music reading and ensemble skills, as well.
Duration Rehearsals: Saturdays, 1:30–4 pm

Auditions for the 2023–24 academic year will be held through an online submission. Video submissions can be made through the application below. If students do not have access to the instruments required for the audition, record as much as possible and Community School staff will follow up with students who are missing audition material to send at a later date.

Application Deadline We are still accepting applications at this time. Students will be informed of decisions by August 1. Students will be required to accept by submitting registration and payment by August 15. Late additions/alternates may be accepted up until the end of September, space permitting.
