Dance Academy Frequently Asked Questions

We accept advanced level ballet students ages 14–19; dancers aged 13 are encouraged to audition.

Auditions will be held on January 22, February 19, March 19, and April 9. Auditions will be both virtual and in-person at the Colburn School. You may also submit an audition video any time prior to August 15, 2022.

Audition Information

Students partake in classes Monday through Saturday in the mornings and early afternoons. A detailed schedule is released to students accepted into the program.

Many of our students are enrolled in online school programs. One popular program is the Oak Crest Academy, which has a campus location on-site at the Colburn School. Visit the High School Coursework page for more information.

Yes, we have a full dormitory and cafeteria on campus.

Yes. There is a $40 fee for activating a payment plan and payments are made on the 15th of each month from the date of registration until March.
