The Colburn Conservatory of Music has one goal: to prepare you for a career as a professional musician. As a student at the Conservatory of Music you will perform in a collaborative, supportive environment with your colleagues, the Colburn faculty, and with world-renowned guest artists.
As an undergraduate in our Bachelor of Music degree or Performance Diploma program, or a graduate student in our Master of Music degree, Artist Diploma, or Professional Studies Certificate program, you will be surrounded by expert artists and scholars with whom you can learn, collaborate, and forge your future. Whether you aspire to a solo career or a life in chamber music; to be an entrepreneur or a teacher; or to win a position in an orchestra or to be a conductor, you will find the tools and inspiration to follow your dreams and open your world.
All students in the Conservatory are performance majors and the curriculum for all five programs has at its core applied lessons, chamber ensembles, and orchestra.
