Ms. Kang has won many prizes and has appeared as a soloist with multiple orchestras in the US, as well as in South Korea.
An accomplished pianist and chamber musician, Ms. Jeesung Kang received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in piano performance from the University of Southern California. She continued her studies at the Salzburg Akademie Mozarteum and took Advanced Studies at the Vienna Conservatory of Music. She also received professional training at the Dorothy Taubman Institute at Amherst College.
She is an active adjudicator, clinician, and recognized teacher, and has been on the piano faculty of the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts since 2000. Ms. Kang’s students have been state and national competition winners, and have been accepted to major music schools in the United States and Europe.
