We are honored with such a wonderful response from our philanthropic community, and we encourage gifts in support of the school, but unfortunately are sold out of tickets. Please contact Alyssa Solis at 213-621-4535 to be put on the waitlist.

Your enthusiastic company and philanthropic support are requested to celebrate James Conlon and Merle Mullin at our 2024 Celebrate Colburn Gala. On arrival, you will enjoy the company of Colburn’s friends, families and philanthropists for a morning reception on the School’s South Plaza. You will proceed into our very own Zipper Hall for an all-Mozart program under the baton of Maestro James Conlon, featuring the Colburn Conservatory’s flagship ensemble, the Colburn Orchestra, with three stellar soloists accentuating the program. The party continues for a glamorous lunch out on the plaza.

Please join us to celebrate the transformative power of the performing arts and the next generation who are already thrilling us with their artistry.

Invitation

The Celebrate Colburn Gala is a wonderful tribute to the power of the performing arts. More importantly, it raises vital funds for the school so that we can continue to offer a transformational music and dance education to our students, regardless of their financial circumstances. Learn how donations allow us to educate and inspire students across the world.

The Celebrate Colburn Gala is also an opportunity for you and your family, friends, and colleagues to join us for a wonderful day filled with music, dance and festivities! Ticket holders can enjoy:

  • A celebratory champagne reception and lunch on the Colburn Plaza.
  • A Colburn Orchestra performance in Colburn’s Zipper Hall, our acoustically superb 415-seat concert venue, led by Artistic Honoree James Conlon in a full Mozart program.

Additionally, the Gala honors members of the artistic community who have made a significant contribution to the arts. This year we are proud to recognize James Conlon as our Artistic Honoree. Learn more about James Conlon. Philanthropist and arts enthusiast Merle Mullin will be celebrated as our Civic Honoree.
