Pianist Emanuel Ax leads an in-depth master class with Colburn students, offering a rare glimpse into the artistic, creative, and learning processes. An exclusive Sony Classical recording artist, he received Grammy Awards in 1985 and 1986 for recordings of Brahms and Beethoven with Yo-Yo Ma. He has won numerous awards, including first prize at the inaugural Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition. Ax currently teaches at Juilliard.
