Community School pianist Dylan Iskandar won first place in the Senior Category at the Elite International Music Competition.
Jose Alvaray, a Music Academy percussionist, won first prize in the senior division of the PAFO (Pacific Academy Foundation Orchestra) Concerto Competition.
Community School pianist Ukki Sachedina won first place at the 6th Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition.
Community School cellists Will Robles and Eiline Tai was chosen for the Piatigorsky International Cello Festival Young Cellists Workshop.
Community School pianist Sophia Glicklich won first place in MTAC-Orange County West Piano Solo Competition and performed in the winner’s concert. She also won first place in the Elite Music Competition and will perform in Carnegie Hall.
Community School Pianist Alexander Licudine received second place in MTAC-Orange County West Piano Solo Competition and performed in the winner’s concert.
Community School pianist Dylan Iskandar won first place in the Senior Category at the Elite International Music Competition. In addition to Dylan, Community School pianists Matisse Wittman-McChesney, Grace Eisner, Kyra Williams, Dagmar Huskey, Vienna Lee, and Brielle Lubin were all awarded spots to perform at the Winners Recital in Carnegie Hall in spring 2020.
