Conservatory alumnus and current faculty Rodolfo Leone (AD ’19) will perform Schubert and Chopin at The Broad Stage on November 17 as part of the Colburn Rising Stars series.

Community School students Elijah Alexander, Stanford Fram, Micangelo Ferrante, William Jae, Joey Karz, Apsara Kasiraman, Zola Saadi-Klein, and Emily Webster-Zuber were selected as 2019-20 fellows in the LA Phil’s Nancy and Barry Sanders Composer Fellowship program.

Community School pianist Dylan Iskandar was awarded the Silver Medal and Diploma in the 3rd Berliner International Music Competition, competing in the Piano: Young Artist category.

Davi Martinelli de Lira (PSC) won a one-year position in the Dayton Philharmonic’s percussion section.

Conservatory alumna Evin Blomberg (AD ’15) has accepted a post as a member of the second violin section with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

Violinist Kathryn Eberle (Community School ’00) was named concertmaster of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

Conservatory violinist Tiffany Kang (BM) won the LACO-Colburn Conservatory Strings Mentorship Mock Audition and will play with orchestra this month.
