Violinist Christian Tetzlaff leads an in-depth master class with Colburn students, offering a rare glimpse into the artistic, creative, and learning processes.  Christian Tetzlaff is one of the most sought-after violinists and most exciting musicians on the classical music scene. He cultivates an unusually extensive repertoire and performs approximately 100 concerts every year.

Led by Adrian Dunn, the Community School’s choral program presents an afternoon of traditional works and festive songs to celebrate the season. This event is nearing capacity. However, there are always no-shows for free events, and we have never had to turn away a patron. Patrons without tickets will be invited to join the standby line and allowed into the hall 5 minutes before curtain, if space is available. This performance will be livestreamed.

In response to the sold-out performance of the Shostakovich and Weinberg Piano Trios last season, this recital pairs the composers’ intimately connected piano quintets. This event has reached capacity. This performance will be livestreamed.

Musical Director Liz Kinnon leads Colburn's Adult Jazz Workshops in a mix of swing, blues, be-bop, and Latin-flavored tunes. Repertoire includes standards by such icons as Vince Guaraldi, Duke Ellington, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, and others.

Join the Community School’s Suzuki guitar students for their end-of-semester concert. 

Flute students from the Community School will perform repertoire especially composed and arranged for the instrument.
