Join us for an exclusive preview event centered around a new documentary film titled Land & Sky – The Inspiration of Tippet Rise. Created remotely this past fall and winter, the documentary features dramatic new footage of the Tippet Rise landscape, interviews with Tippet Rise artists, and gorgeous performances by Colburn alumni ensemble the Calidore String Quartet.

Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth leads a master class with Colburn students, followed by a Q&A hosted by Jim Wilt.

To help break the mold of what is commonly seen as the stereotypical “classical music” audience, brass chamber duo The Two Gabagools present original arrangements and compositions, covering a wide range of musical styles with the help of Colburn alumni.
