Colburn Piano Seminar

Colburn’s Piano Seminar will not be held this summer but will return in June 2025

This two-week intensive piano program for advanced high school students, ages 13 and above, takes place on the beautiful, world-renowned Colburn School campus in the cultural heart of downtown Los Angeles. Learn from acclaimed pianists and experience life at Colburn.

      • Four 50-minute private lessons from two or more faculty, selected by program directors. Additional lessons may be available upon request
      • Studio class each week
      • Master classes and recital opportunities for select students
      • Movement classes and guest speakers
      • Chance to compete in the Steinway Competition and win a $1,000 prize

Lessons and studio classes are open to all. Students are encouraged to audit as many lessons as possible.

Students may choose to live on Colburn’s campus, located across the street from Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Broad Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Commuter and residential students alike will enjoy access to some of the best dining experiences, arts organizations, and venues in the country.

The seminar prides itself in encouraging a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for students. Please contact summer@colburnschool.edu with questions.
