Teacher Training

Conservatory student teaching a Jumpstart cello student
Working as a studio teacher is a rewarding way to develop a sustainable career in the arts. Conservatory students sophomore-level and above are eligible to participate in teacher training coursework and programming, including paid, faculty-supported teaching opportunities. The Teaching Fellows program allows Conservatory students to develop their pedagogical technique by working with students in the Jumpstart program under the guidance of Colburn faculty.
